Being a Peer

Are you assigned the work of grading and evaluation of your peer? You might be seeing yourself as a member of the community of researchers. Although at some point, you may think your University is too lazy to do their grading and simply because of this, the respective work is allotted to you. But, being a peer is indeed a learning opportunity for you as a student.

Professors often use peer grading as a way for students to practice and analyse the quality research and implement the learning into their own work. Peer evaluation can also enhance learning outcomes by encouraging students to take charge of the selection of evaluation criteria for their peer’s work.
